William R. Cohen
William R. Cohen, 80, of South Orange and Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., died May 14, 2012. Born in Newark, he lived in Short Hills for many years before moving to South Orange and Palm Beach Gardens several years ago.
Mr. Cohen was the president of Star Uniform Rental Co.
He was a lifetime member and past president of Green Brook Country Club, North Caldwell, a past member of Orange Lawn Tennis Club, a former member of Y.P.O. and M.P.O, a member of the board of directors at the Institute of Industrial Launders, and a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
He is survived by his wife, Betty, two daughters, Lori Tinsdale and Gail Schob; his son, Ted; a brother, Ronald L.; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held May 16 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to United Jewish Communities of MetroWest NJ or Stand Up 2 Cancer.
