Sylvia Apfelberg Wolin
Sylvia Apfelberg Wolin, 96, of Bell Canyon, Calif., died Jan. 17, 2012. Born in Paterson, she lived in Hackensack, West Orange, and Short Hills before moving to California 24 years ago.
Mrs. Wolin worked for many years at Red Top Records in Newark, which serviced the jukebox industry.
Later, she worked side-by-side with her husband at the Jules A. Wolin Photography Studio in Summit.
She attended Newark College of Pharmacy.
Predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Jules, she is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Janice Wolin Ram of Bell Canyon; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services were held Jan. 22 with arrangements by Jewish Memorial Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to The Lions Club International.
