Sheryl Platt
Sheryl J. Platt, 56, of East Brunswick died June 19, 2012. Born in Passaic, she was a lifelong resident of East Brunswick.
Ms. Platt was an entertainer who routinely sang at venues throughout the state. She was also cast as a singer and dancer in the original motion picture of Hair.
She was a graduate of East Brunswick High School and Rutgers University’s Livingston College.
She is survived by her mother, Joyce Platt of East Brunswick; her sister, Bonnie Vey; and a nephew, Carson Vey.
Services were held June 22 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick.
