Selma Halprin

Selma Halprin of Chatham died Jan. 25, 2012. Born in Syracuse, NY, she lived in New York City for 40 years and then briefly in West Orange before moving to Chatham two years ago.

Ms. Halprin was an office manager for over 30 years for the Michael I. Schaffer Company of New York City, retiring in 1990.

She is survived by her brother, Emanuel Halprin of Texas, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services were held Jan. 29 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Springfield.
