Samuel Edenzon

Samuel Edenzon, 85, formerly of Monroe Township and Hillsborough, died Dec. 7, 2011. Born in New Brunswick, he lived in Highland Park before moving to Monroe Township.

Mr. Edenzon was the heir to Edenzon Wallpaper and Paint Company in New Brunswick, a longtime family business. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he served as a staff sergeant in the Philippines from 1944 to 1946.

A member of Jewish War Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the billiard club of Clearbrook, and Voice of Clearbrook, he was also a life member of the Clearbrook Chapter of Deborah.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly Simon Edenzon; three sons, Irwin of Mobile, Ala; Marc of Belle Mead, and Robert of Northridge, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 8 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapel, East Brunswick.
