Samuel Degutz
Samuel Degutz, 99, of East Brunswick died Jan. 12, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Sunrise, Fla., before moving to East Brunswick seven years ago.
Mr. Degutz was a member of the Bay Ridge Jewish Center. He was active in the Boy Scouts and Sea Scouts, and was a Cub Scout leader.
Predeceased by his wife, Sylvia, in 2005, he is survived by a son, Alan of East Brunswick; two daughters, Susan of Fort Collins, Colo., and Iris of Brooklyn; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 15 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick.
