Robert Schneider
Robert Schneider, 84, of Ocean Township died Jan. 2, 2012. Born in Yonkers, NY, he lived in the shore area for over 60 years.
Mr. Schneider was co-owner of Gelco Woodcraft & Kitchens in Ocean for over 35 years before selling the business in 1992.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Merchant Marines and the Army.
Predeceased by his daughter, Robin Kaufman, in 2001, he is survived by his wife, Marilyn; his son, Alan of Tinton Falls; a sister, Betty Fish; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 4 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapel, Ocean.
