Pepa Gold

Pepa Gold of Long Branch died May 6, 2012. A Holocaust survivor, she was born in Buczacz, Poland, immigrated to New York, and after her marriage in 1951 moved to New Jersey. She lived in Hillside for many years before settling in the West End area of Long Branch over 10 years ago.

Mrs. Gold was a lifetime member of Hadassah and a member of Congregation Brothers of Israel, Elberon.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Meyer; her son, Al of Ocean Twp.; her daughter, Aline Shlinger of Manalapan; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services were May 7 with arrangements by Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood. Memorial contributions may be made to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, 100 Raoul Wallenberg Place SW, Washington, DC 20024.
