Marian Swetsky
Marian Shirley Swetsky (Leonard), 76, of Whippany died Jan. 24, 2012. Born in Liverpool, England, she came to the United States in 1951, residing in Irvington and Livingston before moving to Whippany.
A devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Swetsky was also active in B’nai B’rith Women.
Predeceased by her husband, Julian, she is survived by her son, Steven of Turnersville; her daughter, Robin Swetsky of Denver, Colo.; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 26 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
