Mae Osterweil
Mae Osterweil, 97, of Cohoes, NY, died May 10, 2012. Born in Newark, she lived in Newark after her marriage in 1942 and then in South Orange until 1977, when she retired to Pompano Beach and later Boca Raton, Fla. At age 90 she moved to the Albany, NY, area.
Mrs. Osterweil graduated from Central High School and briefly attended what was then the University of Newark (now part of Rutgers University).
Predeceased by her husband, Jack I., in 1990, she is survived by her daughter, Diana Richter of Great Barrington, Mass.; her son, Marc of Margaretville, NY; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Private services were held May 11 with arrangements by Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, Kingston, NY.
