Lewis Geltzeiler

Lewis N. Geltzeiler, 80, of Monroe Township died June 16, 2012. He was born and raised in Newark and lived for many years in Union.

Mr. Geltzeiler was a vice president of sales for Miami Systems, selling computer business forms until his retirement.

He was a graduate of Weequahic High School, Newark, and Seton Hall University.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years.

He was an officer and active member of Temple Israel, Union. He volunteered at St. Peter’s adult day care for 14 years and was also active in raising awareness and donations for the Prostate Cancer Foundation at Greenbriar.

He is survived by his wife, Lori; two sons, Michael and Steven; two daughters, Rosann Geltzeiler and Karen Koch; a brother, Burt of West Orange; and five grandchildren.

Services were held June 18 with arrangements by Mt. Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenbriar Prostate Foundation, 111 Birmingham Lane, Monroe, NJ 08831.
