Lawrence Rome
Lawrence Rome, 91, of Ewing died May 7, 2012. Born in Trenton, he was an area resident all his life.
Mr. Rome was the proprietor of a furniture store before retiring.
He was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance.
He served in the Army Air Corps and was a veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Adath Israel Congregation, Lawrenceville.
Predeceased by his wife, Eileen Lavinthal Rome, and his daughter, Judith Rome Glassman, he is survived by his son, Steven; a sister, Dorothy Forer; and three grandchildren.
Services were held May 9 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House.
