James Gingold

James L. Gingold, 81, of Morristown died July 11, 2012. He was born and raised in Meadville, Pa.

After serving as an Army medic during the Korean War at Ft. Hood, Texas, Dr. Gingold worked as a research scientist at Warner-Lambert. He retired from Block Drug and served as a consultant at Schein Bayer.

He graduated from Allegheny College, attended Syracuse University, and earned a PhD in microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores Diamond Gingold; two sons, Jeffrey of Jupiter, Fla., and David of New York City; his daughter, Lisa Nasch of Framingham, Mass.; and five grandchildren.

Services were held July 15 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels, Dover. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple B’nai Or, Morristown.
