Ida Lupkin
Ida Lupkin (Shamus), 99, of Manalapan died Jan. 30, 2012. Born in Russia, she resided in Newark and Hillside before moving to Manalapan 12 years ago.
Mrs. Lupkin was a secretary for Progressive Life Insurance Company and the Prudential Life Insurance Company, both of Newark, for many years before retiring.
She is survived by her son, Ronald of Metuchen; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 31 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
