Florence Kaye

Florence Kaye, 83, of Delray Beach, Fla., and West Orange died May 20, 2012. Born in the Bronx, she was a longtime resident of West Orange.

Mrs. Kaye was an accomplished pianist who gave private piano lessons for many years and also accompanied other musicians.

She was a graduate of New York University.

She was a member of Mountain Ridge Country Club in West Caldwell, The Hamlet in Delray Beach, and Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel in South Orange.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gerald; three daughters, Michelle Cohen, Susan Rothbard, and Judith Greenstone; a sister, Rita Gallin; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held on May 22 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
