Etta Hofflich

Etta B. Hofflich (Blackman), 99, of Somerset died Jan. 24, 2012. Born in New York City, she spent much of her life in Brooklyn. She moved to New Jersey, settling first in Cranbury for 30 years and then in Somerset for the last six years.

A devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, Mrs. Hofflich was also active in her synagogues.

Predeceased by her husband, Theodore, she is survived by three sons, Joel of Middletown, NY, Stephen of Long Island, NY, and Richard of Florham Park; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Jan. 26 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
