Ethel Weiss
Ethel Weiss, 90, of Fair Lawn died Jan. 18, 2012. Born in Bayonne, she moved to Fair Lawn in 1952.
Mrs. Weiss worked in the accounting field for many years before retiring at the age of 82.
She was treasurer of the Fair Lawn Senior Center’s Friendship Club. She was a member of Congregation Shomrei Torah in Fair Lawn for many years.
Predeceased by her husband, Ephraim, in 1985, she is survived by her son, Jerome of Rochester, NY; her daughter, Lynne Kurzweil of Montclair; and six grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 20 with arrangements by Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Shomrei Torah, Congregation Shomrei Emunah in Montclair, or the Valley Hospital Foundation in Ridgewood.
