Dorothy Chester
Dorothy Chester, 95, of Ocean Township died May 11, 2012. Born in Russia, she came to the United States in 1921 with her parents, sister, and brother. She lived in Union before moving to the Wayside section of Ocean Township in 1997.
Mrs. Chester had a long career as a bookkeeper in medical offices.
She was a graduate of Brooklyn College.
Predeceased by her husband, Fred, in 1980, she is survived by her son, Alan of Wayside; her daughter, Simma Friedman of Hillsborough; and six grandchildren.
Services were held May 13 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
