Charlotte Engelhardt

Charlotte Beck Engelhardt, 98, of Lake Worth, Fla., died June 25, 2012. Born in Newark, she lived in Orange and Deal before moving to Florida in 1990.

Mrs. Engelhardt was an artist and intellectual.

A lifelong member of Hadassah and B’nai B’rith, she painted and taught art for 10 years to the residents of Lake Worth’s Willow Bend community.

Predeceased by her husband, Ben, in 2001, she is survived by two daughters, Carol Engelhardt and Marjie Coopersmith; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held June 27 with arrangements by Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach, Fla. Memorial contributions may be made to a local hospice.
