Abe Rogovin

Abe Rogovin, 95, of Union died Jan. 14, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Newark and Hillside before moving to Union 35 years ago.

Mr. Rogovin was a self-employed carpenter in Union for many years before retiring.

A veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, he was a member of the Jewish War Veterans.

Predeceased by his wives Bert and Bea, he is survived by his sister, Etta Peller of Ewing, and his extended family.

Services were held Jan. 18 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
