Pass to services

Re “Must we pay to pray?,”

In response to the article “Must we pay to pray?” (Aug. 19), I want to add to the creative suggestions for finding affordable places to attend services on the High Holy Days. There’s a MetroWest program called MetroPass, which offers complimentary tickets to services at participating synagogues and groups, on a one-time basis (and to those who meet other criteria).

For details, you can access MetroPass and find a link to our Secular Humanistic group, the Jewish Cultural School and Society, as well as to the synagogues taking part, at http://www.ujcnj.org/metropass.

It’s a good way to sample an observance and maybe even find what you’ve been looking for. Shana Tova.
