Blood drive thanks

Many thanks to all the donors who came to Temple Sholom on Sunday on Sunday, Dec. 11, for our 42nd Blood Drive, to join us for a bagel and to donate a pint of blood. Special thanks to Joan Marks, who registered all the donors, and to Carl Solomon without whose invaluable assistance there could not possibly have been a blood drive.

Thanks, too, to the many people who donate blood to the overwhelming multitude of blood drives throughout the year, thereby rendering themselves ineligible at the time of our annual drive. The primary goal is to have blood available when it is needed.
