Beth El Synagogue in East Windsor is excited to present the renowned Jewish artist, Mordechai Rosenstein, the weekend of February 9th through the 12th. 

On Saturday, February 11, 2012, from 8:00pm to 10:00pm, Beth El Synagogue of East Windsor will host a Wine and Cheese Reception where Mr. Rosenstein will lead a 45 minutes presentation regarding the famous people he has met as an artist and the art work he has shared with these people of renown.  The cost is $5 per person.

Son of the late Chief Rabbi of Israel, Morchdechai Eliyahu ZTK’L;  President of the National Torah Institute of Tzfat,  which includes a women’s college, the Ma’ayanot Yeshiva for Baalei Tshuvah, a Hesder Yeshivah , organizing many community programs and events, including Ruach Tzfat for educational tours of this mystical city.

Tzfat is located in one of the most economically challenged   regions, although   it is   the third largest tourist attraction in Israel (after Jerusalem and Tel Aviv) with three and a half million visitors a year.

Northern Israel increasingly vulnerable to Hezbollah and political indifference, come and listen to its Champion, its Chief Rabbi, the inheritor of the great mystical tradition, talk about Tzfat and its challenges, his Iraqi roots and his love for his people.

PRINCETON—Options for creating a New Jersey Health Insurance Exchange will be discussed on Sunday, Feb. 26 in a 12:30 p.m. forum at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton.  States are establishing such exchanges under the national Affordable Care Act. 

The forum is sponsored by the UU Legislative Ministry in cooperation with NJ Citizen Action and the NJ for Health Care Coalition. Speakers will discuss issues such as how the Exchange might be organized, who should be represented on its board, how it can best offer access to affordable health insurance, and how the new exchange would fit in with existing New Jersey health insurance programs for individuals and for small employers.
