Bert Abazzia reports on his book “The Colony”

Tuesday, March 20 at 7:00 PM
Library of the Chathams, 214 Main Street, Chatham, New Jersey (Map)
Category: Books and authors

Early in 1900 a group of Russian Jews pooled their money, left the lower East Side, and trekked inland to Chatham, New Jersey.  Once there they bought land to form a cooperative society later entitled “The Colony.”
Bert Abazzia is a child of that colony which has, over time, been absorbed into the Chatham Township and besides author Bert Abazzia, The Colony produced many notable sons and daughters including, Abby Mann the producer of the hit T.V. Show, “Kojack.”
Please come to the Library of the Chathams and listen to author Bert Abazzia talk about the Colony.
