B’nai Ahavath Shalom is a warm and hamische Traditional (non-egalitarian) Conservative Shul on Vauxhall Road in Union, NJ.  We are proud to say that we offer daily Minyan Monday – Friday at 7:30 am, Sunday at 8:30 am. We have an active Men’s Club, Sisterhood and our ever popular Yiddish Club. Folks come from miles and miles away to sit amongst friends telling stories, jokes and singing songs, all in Yiddish.  Yiddish Club traditionally meets on the first Wednesday of each month.

Congregation Anshe Chesed is a Modern Orthodox shul in the beautiful community of Linden. The shul has an open, “out-of-town” warmth and has a unique character of diversity in terms of age, background, and levels of religious observance. Congregation Shomrei Torah Ohel Yosef Yitzchok is an active congregation with daily morning, afternoon, and evening minyanim. Shabbat services are held Friday evening and Saturday mornings at 9 a.m., followed by a kiddush; Minha is followed by a shalosh seudos with learning and then Ma’ariv. There are weekly classes for men and for women. Bris Avrohom offers a variety of classes in Judaic studies in Russian and ESL and citizenship classes for Russian immigrants.

Temple Emanu-El of Westfield is a Reform synagogue drawing members from an extensive area of Union County and beyond. We seek to combine progressive Jewish ideals with a continuing and abiding respect and appreciation for the traditions of Judaism. Our diverse membership of over 1,100 households is made up of people of all different Jewish backgrounds, interfaith families, singles, a well as those seeking Jewish spirituality.
